Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake
Release Date: March 17, 2021
Ubisoft is giving fans of the Prince of Persia series the long-awaited remake of Sands of Time. The fully remade classic has the stunning graphics and audio of today with the immersive storyline of the original.
You’ll try and save the kingdom from Vizier with new cinematics, parkour style animations and the ability to wield the power of time. When you master the sands of time, you’ll be able to:
- Slow time
- Reverse time
- Speed time up
- Freeze time
But you’re to blame for the darkness that overtook the realm. The magical dagger lured you in and as a young Prince, it’s up to you to use your dagger to control time and take back the realm.
The original was released in 2003 and has 12 to 15 hours of playability to complete all of the game’s trophies. While the time to complete may be more in the remake, time will tell what changes fans notice and which actually enhances the game.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits
Release Date: March 2021
Kena is a beautiful game that is going to be released on the PlayStation 4 and 5. You’ll be playing Kena, a young girl that has magical powers as a spirit guide. The game revolves around helping Kena help the deceased move to the spirit world.
The game is in the third-person and is story driven.
Fast-paced combat and exploration will make the game fun and immersive. You’ll learn how to manipulate the environment and start building up your Rot, or your very own team of spirit friends that would help you throughout the game.

Resident Evil 8:Village

Resident Evil is back with the survival horror game on its eighth iteration of the series. The game is a sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The game uses a first-person perspective and an inventory system that hasn’t been in-use since Resident Evil 4.
You’ll be carrying a briefcase and meet The Duke in the game that sells items to you.
A six-player online multiplayer game is also included. The game takes place years after Resident Evil 7 with Ethan returning as the main character. Chris Redfield brings Ethan’s life into chaos once again. The two eventually end up in a village together where something is not right.
Ethan’s home was attacked by Chris, and Ethan will go to the ends of the earth if he has to so that he can save his daughter who has been kidnapped.

Deathloop is a console game coming out as a one-year exclusive. The game is an action-adventure game where you’ll be playing as Colt. Colt is in a time loop, and as an assassin, that’s never good.
You’ll wake up on Blackreef, an island that is a former army base where experiments took place.
While others in the loop never remember the loop, Colt remembers each loop and has to assassinate eight targets before midnight or he will go back into the loop and have to restart. Players can take on the role of Julianna if they don’t want to play as Colt.
The game looks fun with a neat twist of loops that can restart the entire game if you’re not a perfectionist and kill the targets in time. If you want to try a new, fun game that has a neat twist, Deathloop is a great choice.
Back 4 Blood
Release Date: June 18, 2021
Sit down with friends and enjoy this multiplayer survival game brought to you by Turtle Rock Studios. The first-person shooter revolves around you and your friends trying to save humanity from human hosts of parasites that want to kill off the rest of the human population.
The Ridden, or the monsters you’ll face, need to be eradicated.
A cooperative story campaign and competitive multiplayer mode will keep you immersed whether it’s your first time playing through the game or your tenth. Back 4 Blood comes from the same great studio that created the Left 4 Dead franchise, so you’re guaranteed a good time.
Cards bring a new element to the game and will be built at the start of each level.
The addition of cards allows for modification to the game. Corruption cards can also be pulled by the AI Director and can lead to larger enemy spawns and even extra enemies being spawned in the level.
Little Nightmares 2
Release Date: November 2, 2021
Little Nightmares 2 is the sequel to the Little Nightmares series which looks easy but is a very hard game to play. The game is considered a puzzle-platformer horror game where you’ll play as Mono.
Six, the same character from the original, meets Mono (a new character you can play). The two will work together to traverse Pale City. Television-addicted creatures will be spread out throughout the game.
You’ll have to beat multiple puzzles and stay alive while you head to the Signal Tower. The Tower is the key to all of the craziness of the world as the Thin Man is using broadcasts as a way to control the population.
If you want to play a game that’s a little different than what you’re accustomed to, Little Nightmares 2 is a great option.
Release Date: March 16, 2021
Mundaun is actually a hand-penciled horror that brings you to the valley of the alps which is a dark, scary place. You’ll explore the area to unlock its secrets, solve puzzles, survive against hostile encounters and even drive vehicles.
You’ll journey up the mountain, which is said to be haunted, to try and find out what happened to your grandfather.
Curdin, the main character that you’ll be playing, will enter the town only to find that a spirit is haunting the residents. As you learn more about what happened to the town and its dark secrets, things start to look grim for you.
The game is different with its hand-drawn characters, but the immersive story will keep you hooked for hours. There’s also a cause-and-effect system in place that will change the dynamics of the game.
The developer is still releasing tidbits about the game every week, so be sure to see what additional details have been released as we inch closer to March.
Werewolf The Apocalypse: Earthblood
Release Date: February 4, 2021
Earthblood is a game for mature players, and you’ll be taking on the role of Cahal. You’re a Garou which is able to transform into a terrifying wolf and a Crinos, or a massive beast. You’ll have to master all three forms available to you in this action-packed adventure.
You’re filled with rage and very dangerous, but you do the right thing and exile yourself.
Gaia, Mother Earth, is who you’re protecting as you decide to take out your rage on anyone that defiles Gaia.
The key to your success is truly mastering each form that you take on and learning the form’s key advantages. If you want to stealth around undetected, swapping to your wolf form is your best bet.
Come across a foe that’s going to kill you? Transform into a werewolf to rip apart your enemies. Cahal is the best option if you want to communicate with other humans.
The Garou are in a war against an oil company called Endron that has ravaged the planet. You’re on the good side of the planet, punishing those that continue to harm the planet around you. But you’re also trying to redeem yourself in the process.
Far Cry 6
Release Date: 2021
Far Cry 6 is a first-person shooter that doesn’t have a firm release date yet. Ubisoft Toronto has done a spectacular job with this series which is now set on an island in the Caribbean. The island, called Yara, is under a dictatorship by “El Presidente.”
He is raising his own son to step into the role of dictator.
Dani Rojas, the main character that you’ll be playing in the game, has had enough. As a dangerous guerilla fighter, you’re going to try and topple the regime and take back Yara for the people.
You’ll be playing like all the previous games with makeshift weapons, vehicles and the ability to hire others to fight alongside you. These companions are called “Amigos” and will be part of the Fangs for Hire system.
The game is reported as being the largest game in the series to date.
You’ll be able to choose the gender of your character. Far Cry is one of the most addicting series on console now, and it’s one of those games that you can pick up today, not play for a few weeks and jump back into the game without any issues.
Far Cry 6 was going to be released in February 2021, but it was inevitably delayed.
Horizon Forbidden West
Release Date: 2021
Horizon Forbidden West is set to release some time in 2021, and it looks amazing. The game is likely to be released in the final two quarters of the year. The game continues Aloy’s story as a huntress sent on a quest to the Forbidden West.
Aloy’s quest is harder than she ever imagined as you’ll be coming across uncharted lands, encountering massive storms and fighting off monsters and machines. You’ll come across an array of terrain, including:
- Snow-topped mountains
- Ruined cities
Ruined cities can be on land or in the water offering a great option to explore every inch of land. The game is post-apocalyptic and is set in Nevada, Utah and California. The map is larger than previous installments, and you’ll have to uncover the secrets that are hidden in ruins.
Underwater exploration is a new addition to the game and will allow you to find hidden secrets hidden in streams, lakes and beneath any body of water. While the game will offer a lot of opportunities to explore unknown areas, it’s also filled with ruined cities that players will easily recognize, such as San Francisco.
Mysteries await in this fun-filled adventure that takes full advantage of next-generation consoles.
