For most people, a major part of the decision to buy a next-generation console is the lineup of launch games, and before the big PS5 games showcase event in September, the PlayStation 5’s launch lineup was looking a bit lean. But now, we have more information on what first- and third-party PS5 games will be available when the console releases on 12th of November, as well as a list of PS4-era games available on the console through the new PlayStation Plus collection! Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is an action RPG that continues the Assassin’s Creed legacy. Godfall
In Counterplay Games and Gearbox Publishing’s upcoming action adventure looter slasher RPG Godfall, Aperion is on the precipice of ruin. You are the last of the Valorian knights, god-like warriors able to equip Valorplates, legendary armor sets that transform wielders into unstoppable masters of melee combat. Tear through foes as you climb through the elemental realms and challenge the mad god, Macros who awaits you at the top.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Mile Morales
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Mile Morales is the latest adventure in the Spider-Man universe that will build on and expand ‘Marvel’s Spider-Man’ through an all-new story. Players will experience the rise of Miles Morales as he masters new powers to become his own Spider-Man. This action adventure game by Insomniac Games will be launching simultaneously on PS4 and PS5 on November 12th.

Demon’s Souls
In Demon’s Souls, revisit the fog-ridden kingdom of Boletaria in it’s brand new glory. Here, death is not the end, and again the challenge seems insurmountable. But this dark world draws you in nonetheless, with its sumptuous sights and chilling sounds. Experience the remake of this third-person action RPG that inspired the legendary Dark Souls series of games on the powerful new PS5 system when it releases on November 12th.

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition
Capcom is bringing their acclaimed action game in the form of Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition to both PS5 and XBox Series X digitally at launch. The biggest addition in DMC5: Special Edition is Vergil, who is joining the game as a playable character. Those who already own the original DMC5 on PS4 or Xbox One will also have the option to purchase Vergil as paid DLC “at a later date.” In addition to Vergil, the game will feature the fan-favorite Turbo mode, as well as the Legendary Dark Knight difficulty. The game is also receiving some visual and performance improvements thanks to the PS5’s extra horsepower, including an optional 120 FPS mode.

Several games have also been confirmed for PlayStation Plus for the PS5. These are not enhanced PS5 versions of the original games, but rather compatible PS4 releases that you’ll be able to play on the PS5 if you have a subscription. Check out the list below:
