7 Characters We Want Added In MultiVersus

MultiVersus is still a fairly new game. As such, we can expect that new characters will be added to the fray. Naturally, we’re all very excited to see which characters they will add and to be honest, we have our own wishlist too!

Today we’ve listed down some of the childhood characters that we wish to see added to MultiVersus. We’re pretty sure that these icons will surely cause more fun and havoc on the battlefield with a twinge of nostalgia as well!

Oh! And if you need help with the game, be sure to also check out our beginner’s guide to MultiVersus too!

Not wasting any more time, let’s get right into it!

Jake Long

Jake Long (American Dragon Jake Long)

From the J to A to the K to the E, Jake Long is one of the many Asian representatives in Western media during the early 2000s. It’s time it makes a comeback.

Jake Long is a lively, bubbly and downright cool personality that makes him really affable. His quirky catchphrases like “Aw Man” and “Dragon Up” were pretty iconic back in the day. Including them inside the game will surely strike a chord with many millennials.

Combat-wise, having Jake Long transform into his dragon state could be awesome. Of course, please don’t make him overly OP as we would still want a balanced and fair game!

Green Lantern

Green Lantern (DC Comics)

Green Lantern’s power is only limited by its imagination. This alone will make Green Lantern an interesting addition to the roster as coming up with his moveset can be tricky.

This is because the Green Lantern Ring’s power is technically limitless. The game developers can almost do anything with it—it can be extremely overwhelming or underwhelming.

Additionally, this also makes Green Lantern a wildcard for classes. We can almost see Hal coming from any of the classes available. Will he be an all-rounder from the Bruiser class or perhaps a havoc-creating character from the Mage class? Well, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Beast Boy

Beast Boy (DC Comics)

Beast Boy is arguably the most loved character from the Teen Titans franchise. He is very goofy and his cold humour can ironically put a smile on all of our faces. It’ll definitely be fun to have a class clown added to the roster!

In terms of abilities, Beast Boy’s shapeshifting skills can be incredibly fun. Imagine being able to knock down Batman while being an actual bat is hilarious. In many ways, our justification for Beast Boy is quite similar to Jake and Green Lantern—both fun and unique in their own way.

Of course, we do hope that more Titans will be added in the future, but for now, let’s not be greedy and our favourite green Titan will do the trick.

Powerpuff girls

Powerpuff Girls (The Powerpuff Girls)

They are the embodiment of sugar, spice and everything nice. What’s not to love?

Like with Tom and Jerry, we think that including all three girls as a single character is the way to go as they work way better as a unit. Quick and pesky, we can totally see the Powerpuff Girls being slotted in the Mage or Support class with some annoying disables.

Plus, we would also expect that stringing combos together with the girls can be interesting. A set up from Blossom’s ice breath and a finisher Eye Beam from Buttercup can be superb.

Not to forget Bubbles, her tearful nature can also be made as a debuff which can perhaps lower the armour of opponents. Cute but not to be messed with!

Ben 10

Ben (Ben 10)

Ben 10 has quite a number of games under its belt over the years. Hence, it’s not particularly difficult to implement his character in MultiVersus.

Despite his many monster variations, the developers will have a lot of examples from past games to work on. But that is not the only reason we want to see Ben included in MultiVersus.

For one, Ben exudes a protagonist aura that is rarely seen in the MultiVersus roster. His headstrong attitude brings a new vibe to the game. Just imagine Ben and Jake Long side-by-side taking down opponents with their flashy attitude!

Omi

Omi (Xiaolin Showdown)

Xiaolin Showdown is one of the most underrated TV Shows out there, plus, it had an amazing cast of original characters and Omi is one of them!

This cute yellow baldie has everything there is to love. His blissfulness and inaccurate saying of expressions are a joy to watch when we were kids. That said, when push comes to shove, Omi is a force to be reckoned with!

Having trained as a young martial artist, Omi’s fighting prowess is top-notch. We would think that his moves would be somewhat similar to Batman’s but perhaps with a shorter reach.

Although, Omi does have one thing that Batman doesn’t have—the power of the Shen Gong Wu. Using his iconic Orb of Tornami, Omi is basically also a water bender which we would love to see in action.

Flash

Flash (DC Comics)

It is actually a crime to not have the fastest man alive in the MultiVersus, especially since The Flash has quite the ability to create a universe altogether with his speed.

Of course, with that speed, we expect that Flash can come off as an insanely broken character. We think a balance here is his frailty. Sure, let him keep his super-speed but once he is caught, a combo or two can deal significant amounts of damage to him.

Either way, we do hope that the speedster gets to see light in the arena as he is indeed loved by both us and the fans.

So, that basically completes our list of cartoon characters we want to see in MultiVersus. If you want to purchase the game today, you can purchase it for your Xbox consoles with our Xbox Live Gift Cards here!
