Cliff Bleszinski, the creator of acclaimed Third-person Shooter series: Gears of War, left Epic Games to found his own company and game studio, Boss Key Productions. For the longest time, not much was shown from the studio but now, all that changes with the unveiling of the newest project from the man that revolutionized Third-person Shooter
Though not much information has been revealed so far, Boss Key Productions and Cliff Bleszinski is dropping teasers leading up to the major reveal of the project. One thing’s for sure, the game is NOT called “The Shattering”, rather, the shattering seems to refer to an event that had caused a major destruction of some sort in the game.
The man himself, Cliff Bleszinski, has cleared up any confusion regarding the game’s title on his twitter account. A teaser trailer was released recently and notably, the title of the video is “After The Shattering…”, which should further solidify the shattering as an event rather than the actual name of the project or game itself.

For the longest time, Cliff Bleszinski and Boss Key Productions were working on a free-to-play FPS for PC that was dubbed “Project Bluestreak”. Pre-alpha footage and images were teased by Cliff Bleszinski back in April for Pax East and that the game will run on Unreal Engine 4. Whether “Project Bluestreak” and the shattering is based on the same property is yet to be known.
However, based on the teaser trailer, we will get more information about the latest game title from Cliff Bleszinski and Boss Key Productions on Wednesday, August 26th at 12 PM EST.
Boss Key Productions new game will be published by Nexon America and will come exclusively to PC. Stay tuned for more updates on the game as we get closer to the reveal date.
