AFK Arena’s Latest Character is Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio Auditore

AFK Arena‘s latest character will be a very familiar face to fans of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series. Yes, legendary Italian assassin Ezio Auditore has now joined the game’s giant roster of collectable heroes. Alongside today’s announcement came a live-action trailer that you can check out below.

Ezio is arguably the series’ most popular protagonist to date and has starred in three separate AC games: Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations. For many, the Ezio era was a series highlight, even if Revelations couldn’t quite live up to its predecessors.

Ezio Auditore comes to AFK Arena as a dimensional assassin ranger type character (obviously). His skill Final Retribution allow Ezio to avoid all damage from a single enemy’s attack. After avoiding that attack, Ezio counter attacks the enemy, initiating a 6 stage attack on them. If the enemy is at range, Ezio will pull out a crossbow instead.

His second ability smoke bomb enshrouds nearby enemies in a heavy cloud, causing them to lose accuracy points, haste points, and have an increased chance to receive critical damage. His passive ability increases his dodge points every second until a fixed point.

Finally, with his ultimate skill, Ezio marks all enemy targets with “Execution Threshold” markers. If a target’s health falls below the threshold, Ezio will swiftly execute them. Each time this ability is used against enemies that are already marked, their thresholds will be raised.
