iPhone 14 & iPhone iPhone 14 Plus

This year’s new lineup for the iPhone does not include a mini-version. The iPhone 14 starts from $799 and Plus starts from $899. Pre-orders start on 9 Sept and will officially go on sale on 16 Sept. However, for the Plus model won’t be shipped until October. So those who are aiming to get the Plus version will have to wait a little longer.

New features of the iPhone 14 include:

  • True-tone OLED display
  • Five colors (including a new light blue)
  • Improved battery life
  • Ceramic screens that are more durable
  • Better low-light performance on the front-facing camera
  • Action Mode that stabilizes video
  • Safety service called Emergency SOS via Satellite that can connect to emergency services even if the user is outside of cellular or wi-fi range. It’s free for iPhone 14 users in the U.S. and Canada and launches in Canada.

iPhone 14 Pro & iPhone 14 Pro Max

The iPhone Pro series has been revealed and comes with a brand new function – Dynamic Island. Ditching the notch for a Dynamic Island, whenever users receive an alert, notification, or phone call, the Dynamic Island box will expand and take over the notch’s area. This function is only available for the pro series and not the regular iPhone 14 model.

The iPhone 14 Pro will start at $999, and iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at $1099. They are available for pre-order this Friday and ships out next week.

Apple Watch Series 8

The new apple watch boasts a more durable design and introduced a new temperature sensor that helps improve health data tracking (including ovulation). Apple also emphasized on its data protection and privacy measures, claiming that health data will only be shared with explicit permission from the user. They also added a new safety feature that can detect if you are in a severe car crash and will call for emergency services automatically.

The Apple Watch Series 8 will come in four colors in aluminum — black, gold, aluminum, and red — and three colors in stainless steel. It costs at least $399 for an aluminum model and $499 for one with cellular connectivity.
