Anime Festival Asia Returns to Singapore with New Events

After a 2-year hiatus, Anime Festival Asia (AFA) is returning to Singapore this November. This time, the event will be held at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre from the 25th to 27th of November, featuring different special guests and events. 


The theme for Anime Festival Asia this year is AFAVERSE, where the event aims to represent a multiverse of fun and excitement to all Anime, Comic, Games (ACG) fans and Japanese pop culture enthusiasts.

Visitors would also be exposed to a game-like environment during the event where they can design their own Seika AFA-tar and earn FA Hero XP and Coins through a specially-designed NFC Band.


These items can also be exchanged for exclusive items and discounts. Various virtual easter eggs would also be scattered around the event hall for visitors to discover.


Around the event hall, there would be exhibitors showcasing their products and services in their respective booths. Some exhibitors such as Bushiroad, Genshin Impact and Good Smile Company would also be providing exclusive offers to fellow attendees of the event. 


A dance and a cosplay showcase competition will also be held on stage during the 3-day event where participants could stand a chance of winning amazing cash prizes.


The highlight of the event would be the Day Stage Event spanning three days. During the Day Stage event, a series of screenings and guest talk shows from notable figures in the industry would be featured on stage. The schedule will be as follow:

For three nights,  AFA Night Live will also have live performances. Meet and greet events would be held on stage by fan-favourite talents from Hololive and various popular Anisong artists from the I Love Anisong event. Furthermore, SAO fans can also grab this chance to enjoy the 10th Anniversary Event Premiere Screening of Sword Art Online – FULLDIVE on the 25th of November at 7 pm during the Night Live.
