Another Free DLC Set To Drop For Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Are you enjoying the world of Witcher 3? Are you still trying to make your way through Velen and Novigrad while still being swamped with endless amount of baddies to kill? Well, looks like CD Projekt Red is looking to add a little variety to your hunting with this week’s free DLC.

The DLC will add new finisher animations so that you can kill all the monsters, bandits, and soldiers with more style. Expected to drop on July 23rd, this marks the 15th out of the 16 free DLC that developer CD Projekt Red has promised.

Aside from the picture, which was tweeted on the Witcher 3’s official tweeter page, no other details is known about the DLC, such as how many finishers are available and whether it includes other weapons (i.e., Axes, Maces, Blackjack, etc.) Once it gets release, we’ll update with all the details.

After this DLC, there will be one more free DLC set to come to Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. While there are no details about it, we can expect it to be a sizable download as previous DLC that CD Projekt released so far has been quite substantial. The DLCs ranges from new armors and alternate costume to new side-quests that’s actually pretty good.

Once all free DLCs are finished, CD Projekt Red will focus on the expansions which will be “almost the same size of The Witcher 2,” as quoted by Director Konrad Tomaskiewicz. The expansion will come in two separate releases with the first expansion “will be around 10 hours.” while as the second expansion is expected to “be around 20 hours.” That’s lot of content to make, but if there’s any developer that can pull this off, it’s CD Projekt Red.

Hearts of Stone, The Witcher 3’s first expansion DLC is expected to come some time in the fall this year. The second expansion DLC, Blood and Wine, will be coming in 2016.
