A number of players have reported on Reddit that Sony is offering refunds to Anthem owners if they request for it. Apparently, there’s a serious bug in Anthem that leads to a complete system crash on PlayStation 4.
The issue arise when Anthem players on PlayStation 4 attempts to close the application from the PlayStation’s menu, the console then totally shuts down as if the plug had been pulled from an outlet. Sony has a strict digital return policy where PlayStation owners can only cancel a digital content purchase within 14 days from the date of transaction, provided that they have not started downloading or streaming it. Sony will only honor a refund if they deem the content to be faulty.
