Assassin’s Creed Trilogy Might Be Getting The HD Treatment

Recently, EA talked about giving one of its biggest franchise, Mass Effect, a remastered release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It seems like EA’s not the only one as reports have surfaced of Ubisoft plans to release an HD remastering of the Assassin’s Creed Ezio trilogy.

Assassin's Creed Ezio Trilogy

VG 24/7 reports the story based on a listing spotted by the folks at NeoGAF. The listing, which is from the Korean Game Rating Classification Board, states that the Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox one.

Given that it’s the “Ezio Collection”, odds are all the Ezio led games will be included in the collection, which includes Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

Since Ubisoft is not releasing a major Assassin’s Creed title this year, the next best thing would probably be to release a remastered edition of the most popular Assassin out of the whole franchise. If you don’t feel like playing old Assassin’s Creed games, you could always check out the movie, which is coming out on December 21.
