The auto battler game co-developed by Dragonest Co. Ltd and Drodo Studio Auto Chess releases their native PS5 version today! Check out the game’s PS5 launch announcement trailer below:
In Auto Chess, players face off against each other one on one. Players collect and upgrade their chess pieces and set them up on their side of the battlefield in the preparation phase. When the battle starts, the pieces will move and fight automatically, leaving the player to cheer them on from the side lines.
Auto Chess currently has more than 70 unique chess pieces with more constantly being added. The developers are also constantly holding exciting new events and tournaments, so there is a very active online community, especially since crossplay between platforms are available.
The arrival of the game on PS5 will see the game come complete with support for ultra-fast loading via the console’s fast SSD, upgraded graphics, and haptic feedback on the DualSense controller. A new PlayStation exclusive character, Date Masamune, will also be available from the in-game store or the PlayStation Store.
