Battleborn And Rock Band 4 Meet In The Weirdest Crossover

There have been plenty of weird crossovers or team-ups within the gaming world but this collaboration between Battleborn and Rock Band 4 is the unlikeliest pairing that came out of PAX East 2016.

Announced during Gearbox Software’s panel at PAX East 2016, the developer and Harmonix will be bringing two characters from Battleborn to Rock Band 4 soon.

The two characters making its way to the music rhythm game are Thorn and Miko and they even come with their own rock star bio with the official description below:

Teshka Elessamorn—nicknamed “Thorn” for her short temper—was the last child born to her homeworld before the Valersi claimed it. Armed with her longbow, Kreshek, she now ranges the wilds of Ekkunar, fueled by her own boundless fury.

The last surviving bud of a planet-spanning fungal colony, the otherworldly Miko is regarded as a capable “combat botanist”, healing and protecting its allies while hurling poison-tipped kunai at pretty much everything else.

Harmonix is no stranger to crossovers as they previously teamed up with Bethesda to bring an exclusive Fallout 4 Vault 111 suit and Pip-Boy though this marks the first cross-promotional characters to appear in Rock Band 4. No official date has been mentioned by Harmonix of Gearbox Software but Randy Pitchford, Gearbox’s president, teases that it will be coming soon.

Rock Band 4 is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Battleborn will launch on May 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
