Well, look no further! Here are some of the most powerful and favored weapons available this season that you could find the majority of players have chosen to use.

With a new season, there will be new skins and battle passes to be bought, so make sure to get some Google Play Gift Cards to top up on your CP and get new skins!

Do note that there are various factors that could affect the effectiveness of a weapon, from its attachments to a player’s individual playstyle, so do read through this article with that in mind. To make it easier for you, we’ll be listing one gun for every weapon category, so you don’t get a headache on what to pick.

Assault Rifle (AR) – AK117

The AK117 is one of the most versatile weapons in the game, which explains why it is rather highly favored by players who enjoy using ARs. Although sadly, it has been nerfed a couple of times (which is a testament to how powerful it was), it is still a powerful weapon to have. The weapon unlocks at level 8.

The gun has a damage of 38, a quick-fire rate of 77, and a rather high accuracy at 62. This gun is best for those who prefer attacking from mid to long-range. In order to do you more justice, perhaps you should add the Dead Silence perk, especially if you like to creep up on your enemies. Either that or the Agile perk to decrease your aiming time after sprinting.

In terms of attachments, if you’re building a loadout for an all-rounder that you could use for battle royale situations try adding the OWC Marksman barrel and 40 Round Extended Mag to increase your range and ammo.

SMG – QQ9

Another favorite amongst COD players this season would be the QQ9 SMG, even if it was served with a buff – it’s still a good choice for SMG users. It deals up to 61 damage if the 10mm 30 Round Reload attachment is used which is pretty high. The QQ9 has pretty good stats for an SMG with a fire rate of 83, mobility of 81, and range of 46.

With these stats in mind, it would make for a good gun in close to mid-range combat. Add on the Dead Silence perk to increase your stealth so that you could ambush enemies, as well as the Toughness perk to reduce your flinch by 60%, making you more indestructible.

Some attachments that you could consider adding to your QQ9 in order to reduce recoil would be the MIP Strike Stock or the YKM Light Stock. For more accuracy, you could add the OWC Laser Tactical to the mix. The weapon can be unlocked by killing 30 enemies while crouching with an SMG, which doesn’t seem like a bad feat.

Shotgun – BY15

Another close combat weapon, and arguably one of the best shotguns in Season 3, the BY15 is a pump-action shotgun that is a treat to use on the battlefield.

The BY15 has high damage of 98, mobility of 71, and accuracy of 48. For perks, you could consider using the Quick Fix perk which gives you instant health regeneration for every kill, and the Lightweight perk so your sprinting speed is increased, which helps you get out of nasty situations faster.

It is recommended for you to improve the accuracy and range of the weapon with some attachments such as the RTC Extended Light Barrel and the OWC Laser Tactical. Usually, in adding these attachments, you would take away some mobility, but the trade-off is rather worth it.

LMG – Chopper

The Chopper deals pretty decent damage but is the most effective in short to mid-range battles. Even so, it is a highly versatile weapon that you could use at any range with the right attachments, of course. It can be unlocked by killing 30 enemies with an LMG through hip firing, so get to it if you haven’t already!

For this LMG, you could equip the Lightweight, Toughness, and Dead Silence perk for silent and fast movement as well as reduced flinch from damage. For attachments, you could try adding the 120 Round reload for more ammo and the OWC Light Suppressor in order to stifle the recoil which could help improve accuracy.

Sniper Rifle – DL Q33

When it comes to snipers, the most important aspects would be accuracy and damage which is gladly provided by the DL Q33. This sniper rifle can one-shot enemies with no problem and has the highest wall bang damage for you to penetrate through the walls of buildings.

Perks for the DL Q33, you could consider using the Agile, Toughness, and Dead Silence perks which would allow you to move silently and reduce flinch and aiming time. Giving you a better chance at stealthily hunting your enemies and taking them out as fast as possible.

When it comes to attachments, here are some that you could consider adding to your weapon in order to make it better – the MIP Light barrel for better range, the YKM Combat stock for better accuracy when you’re running around, and the OWC Laser Tactical for overall better accuracy. This build is somewhat focused on accuracy, as that is one of the important aspects of a sniper.
