Bethesda revealed another post-apocalyptic RPG series with a teaser trailer for Fallout 76 and the game publisher will provide more details of the game during its E3 press conference on June 10.
The character in the trailer was wearing a uniform with a 76 on its back, and the TV announcer also mentions Vault 76, is actually one of the control vaults that were designed to open 20 years after the nuclear holocaust that took place in 2077. The date on the Pip-Boy clock shows October 27, 2102, less than three decades after the bombs fell.
The game is named after the series’ Vault 76, which has been mentioned in both Fallout 3 and Fallout 4. Based on Fallout’s lore, Vault 76 was meant to be open just 20 years after the nuclear war, there will be far less civilized setting than Fallouts 3 and 4, which are full of cities and settlements.
