Blizzard Gives Overwatch Players Five Free Loot Boxes For Christmas

Overwatch players are getting extra holiday present along with the festive Winter Wonderland event that is going on now. If you log in to Overwatch on any platform, PC, Xbox One or PlayStation 4 from now till January 1, you will receive a present of five free loot boxes.

Lootboxes cost $4.99 for five of them, or you can earn them through the usual ways by grinding five levels, therefore this is a fairly nice reward coming from Blizzard. That is a great bonus, considering there are a whole new set of cosmetic items to pick up this year from the Winter Wonderland event. Be sure to redeem the lootboxes before the event ends on January 1.
