The marketing effort coming from the game publisher indicate that Sony has secure the deal for a timed-exclusive DLC this year. A recent post on the Call of Duty Twitter page showed an imagery of the game’s logo and reiterated the May 17th reveal date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The only things easily distinguishable is what appears to be a gun being held by a soldier and what could be either another logo or a face that seems right before the Black Ops 4 logo pops up at the end.

Call of Duty: WW2’s DLC previously had 30 day PlayStation 4 exclusivity, together with Xbox’s five year timed exclusivity deal coming to an end in 2015. The title was rumored to have no campaign, but there might be a Battle Royale mode in store. Zombie mode is confirmed, and Treyarch has another co-op activity in the works to compensate for the lack of a single-player campaign.
Black Ops 4 will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 12. The reveal is set for tomorrow on Thursday, May 17.
