Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition’s intrusive advertisements no longer visible in-game after two weeks.
Sponsored content or ads, first arrived to Street Fighter 5 in December. The ads were displayed on stages, character outfits, and loading screens, are switched on by default, but players are able to toggle them off from the Battle Settings menu. Those that choose to show sponsored content in their games get bonus fight money from both ranked and casual online matches.
Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono said on Twitter that the organization is considering other ways to improve them and is taking feedback from fans, thus, the ads are currently removed from the game, for now.
