Capcom’s Classic Onimusha: Warlords Is Heading To All Platforms

Capcom is going to bring the first Onimusha: Warlords to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.

The game is expected to launch on January 15, 2019, and will consist of high-definition graphics, widescreen support, a new control scheme made for analog sticks along with a brand new soundtrack. Capcom also promises a readily available easy mode option as well. Onimusha: Warlords will be digitally available for $19.99 and players in North American can start pre-ordering the physical version right now while the digital version will be available at a later date. For the Europe region, only a digital version is available.

Onimusha: Warlords was originally released back in 2001 and the story sets in feudal Japan after the perceived death of the evil lord Nobunaga Oda. Onimusha: Warlords recounts the story of the samurai Samanosuke Akechi and ninja Kaede on a mission to rescue Princess Yuki, following her plea for help after mysterious demons that serves evil lord Nobunaga Oda invaded her castle.
