Castle Crashers

Castle Crashers is a 2D side-scroller beat ’em up and role-playing game hybrid developed by The Behemoth and published by Microsoft Game Studios.This game is available on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC via Steam.

Castle Crashers take place in a fictional medieval universe in which a dark wizard steals a mystical gem and captures four princesses. The King has ordered four knights to rescue the princesses, recover the jewel, and bring the wizard to justice.

Castle Crashers is able to support up to four players, either locally or online. The game progression, in terms of what stages are playable, is determined by the player who is furthest along. Although some levels will require all players to have unlocked them before they are allowed to proceed. However, each player will gain their experience points independently as they progress with the rest of the party members.
