CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 made a surprise entrance during Microsoft’s E3 keynote and the upcoming role-playing game looks beautiful and promising. It has been awhile since the developers release a trailer of this game.
In Cyberpunk 2077, the male character says that his city is considered the worst city in America where MegaCorps manage every aspect of life from the top floors of their sky-scraping fortresses. Down below, the streets are run by drug pushing gangs, tech hustlers, and illegal braindance slingers. The in-between is where decadence, sex and pop culture mix with violent crime, extreme poverty and the unattainable promise of the American Dream.
The protagonist in the game is known as V, a cyberpunk and a hired gun who has just obtained a serious contract in a world of cyberenhanced street warriors, tech-savvy netrunners and corporate life-hackers. This is the first step where players becomes an urban legend.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a narrative-driven, open world RPG set in the most vibrant and dangerous metropolis of the future — Night City.
