Creators of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Next Big Project Is Elden Ring
FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment are developing a new action RPG called Elden Ring. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki claims it is an open world game only FromSoftware can make, and players can expect to fight terrifying bosses, and will likely die a lot.
Miyazaki explained to IGN in an interview that Elden Ring is heavily based on Dark Souls’ gameplay. Miyazaki also said that Elden Ring’s environments are much more vast and open. With a customizable character, the player will be able to traverse through the world on a horse and can find enemies while riding it.
Set in a vast, fully fledged fantasy world, players will be able to explore, overcome danger looming at every turn, and enjoy a wide variety of RPG experiences. The world’s fiction has been created in collaboration between FromSoftware director Hidetaka Miyazaki and fantasy author George R. R. Martin. The game will be released worldwide for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 as well as PC.
