Dark Fantasy RTS The Unliving Alpha Gameplay Footage Revealed

Team 17 and Rocketbrush Studio recently unveiled their latest dark fantasy real-time strategy game The Unliving. Check out the reveal trailer below:

You play as a necromancer, using your unholy powers to raise an undead army to fight a church that had imprisoned you and taken your lands. You’ll start out fighting peasants armed with pitchforks and torches, and work your way up to elite mercenaries and holy priests with special powers, making them adepts at undead slaying. Rest assured however as death is merely a temporary reprise, and you’ll soon find yourself rising up again in a true roguelike fashion.

Game review website GameSpot recently got a hands on experience in this game as they were invited to test out the alpha build of the game. They’ve kindly shared their gaming experience with everyone. Check out the gameplay footage below:
