Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have revealed that the original Dark Souls is coming to Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One as Dark Souls: Remastered. The good news is that the Nintendo Switch will also be getting the Dark Souls: Remastered.
The remastered version will arrive to all platforms on May 25, which include enhanced resolution, visual improvements and the Artorias of the Abyss DLC.
Dark Souls was first launch for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2011. Windows PC received a ported version in 2012 as Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition. Dark Souls 3 is Bandai Namco’s latest entry in the Dark Souls franchise, and was made available to consoles and PC in early 2016.
For Nintendo Switch, the game will be remastered specially for Switch, along with unique multiplayer gameplay which can support up to six players on dedicated servers.
