Dark Souls: Remastered Is 50% Off For Owners That Owns Prepare to Die Edition

Bandai Namco has made it official that existing owners of FromSoftware’s Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition on Steam will receive a 50% discount if they decide to purchase the latest Dark Souls Remastered.

The remastered version of Dark Souls usually cost $39.99, and existing owners just need to fork out $20 for the enhanced version. Bandai Namco also plans to remove the Prepare to Die Edition from Steam on May 9, 2018. However, the game will remain accessible for owners who owns the game.

The original gameplay and lore will return in high-definition detail that is playable on 60fps and even 4k resolution.

Sadly, there is no similar discount for console owners, due to the fact that the first Dark Souls was release in 2009 and isn’t available for console. Dark Souls: Remastered will launch on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on May 25.
