PlanetSide Arena is a free-to-play, massive-scale, match-based sci-fi arena shooter that reintroduces players to the revolutionary PlanetSide Franchise – the record-breaking MMOFPS that redefined all-out planetary warfare.
Additionally, it features class-based combat, combined arms gameplay, compelling team tactics, and a deep tech tree with weapon mods and in-game progression. Furthermore, PlanetSide Arena is built to support up to 1000+ players in a single match.
Initial Squads match sizes will be capped at 300 players (25 teams of 12), while Teams match sizes will be capped at 150 (50 teams of 3). Match sizes will continue to scale as the developers introduce new modes to the game. To start playing, just head over to Steam and download the game. PlanetSide Arena will launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and XBox One in Q2 2020.
