It’s not long now until Dead Cell‘s new Fatal Falls DLC drops in on us! Motion Twin and Evil Empire has just announced that the next paid expansion of the hack ‘n’ slash roguelite will land on the 26th of January. Check out the tweet complete with introductory trailer below:

The Fatal Falls DLC brings with it new biomes with new enemies, not to mention new weapons with which to whack them with. The two new biomes being released are the fractured shrines and the undying shores. They’re intended as alternate paths to shake up your midgame runs, and culminate in fighting new boss, The Scarecrow.
As for the new weapons, there are seven in total, including: Lightning Rods, Ferryman’s Lantern, Scarecrow’s Sickles, Iron Staff, Snake Fangs, Serenade and Cocoon. The devs add that each of these will help you in different areas of the new biomes.
Fatal Falls descends upon us on the 26th of January on Steam, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It will also be coming to mobile at a later date.
