Demon Slayer COMING TO PS4, MOST LIKELY AN ARENA FIGHTER

Popular manga and anime property Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is getting its own video game adaptation, and it’s coming to PlayStation 4 in 2021. At the time of writing we don’t know who the developer is, but early information suggests that this is going to be yet another anime-based arena brawler, like the recent One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, or One Piece: Burning Blood, or My Hero One’s Justice, or… Well, you get the idea.

The game follows the story from the manga, and is seemingly a title where players become Tanjiro Kamado and relive the original story.

And that’s just about all we have to go on right now. Demon Slayer itself has had its popularity soar in the West over the last year or so thanks to the localisation of the anime, and it continues to be a hit in Japan as one of Weekly Shonen Jump’s main features. We will continue to provide coverage as more information becomes available.

Fans of arena battles could check out these aforementioned games instead while waiting:
One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows
One Piece: Burning Blood
My Hero One’s Justice
