Bungie promised two Destiny 2 expansions in the shooter’s first year, and we finally know when that second add-on will arrive. Warmind is expected to arrive on May 8th, and will likely cost $19.99 like its previous expansion Curse of Osiris. Community manager Deej revealed the title and said the trailer is coming later this month.
The Warmind in question is rumored to be a character named Charlemagne or possibly Rasputin, a prominent AI from the original Destiny. On April 24th, Bungie is planning an official live stream on Twitch to reveal more info on Warmind.
The expansion is free if you had purchased the expansion pass and the company is also hinting at what is coming to players beyond Warmind. For one, all of the Warmind Crucible maps will be available for matchmaking whether or not you have the add-on. Players should also see some changes in summer, such as PC clan chat, bounties and a new seasonal event. In September, you will eventually see the return of weapon randomization, records, gear collections and more.
