The Rise of Iron expansion will see the debut of one of the most requested features for Destiny. Private Matches. In addition to that, we’ll be getting new modes and maps when the Rise of Iron expansion hits consoles on September 20.
Announced via a new ViDoc trailer for the expansion, players will finally be able to create custom PvP matches in the crucible. Also shown in the “Forged in Fire” trailer are the new story content, the new raid, and more Crucible maps.
While most of the content have been revealed by Bungie before, the video gives us a better look at the new content, especially the raid, which is set to go live on September 23. If you are big into raids, Wrath of the Machine looks to be another great addition to Destiny‘s list of raids.
A new mode is also coming to Destiny‘s Crucible with Supremacy. Based on Call of Duty‘s Kill Confirmed mode, Supremacy will task players with collecting crest from other players by killing them in order to gain points in the mode. With plenty of new content coming, Rise of Iron will hopefully keep players playing until Destiny 2 comes out.
Destiny is available now for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The latest expansion, Rise of Iron, will launch on September 20, 2016, and will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only.
