Deus Ex Mankind Divided Descents On February 2016

Fans were excited when Eidos Montreal announced the sequel to the critically acclaimed Deus Ex series with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided back in April. Since then, fans has been salivating at the beautiful game and wanting concrete information on when Mankind Divided will come out. Well, gear up your augments because Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have officially announced that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be coming on February 23, 2016.

Set two years after the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Mankind Divided sees protagonists Adam Jensen, once again getting into situations that he didn’t ask for. As per the game title, the story will follow and examine the societal tension between augmented and non-augmented humans.

Previously, Square Enix and Eidos Montreal introduced a promotion that allows fans to decide what will be included in the pre-order bonuses and collector’s edition for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. While it might be a bit complicated, it seems that Square Enix has decided to include multiple “tiers” for the pre-order bonuses with a campaign called “Augment Your Pre-Order”. If you’re not sure what that is, check out the video embedded below for an explanation of the campaign.

As outlined in the video, different sets of pre-order bonuses will be available to fans with more tiers unlocking after reaching a certain number of pre-sales. A good analogy of this system would be the Kickstarter campaign stretch goals where more goals are unlocked when reached a certain number of backers.

The rewards listed includes character skins, music samplers, bonus in-game missions, and digital art books and comics. But the final unlockable bonus might be enticing to some gamers as it will grant pre-order buyers an early access code to the full retail version of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided four days ahead of the official launch date.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Collectors Edition

Of course, fans can just opt to pre-order the Colletor’s Edition for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided from retailers and receive the pre-order bonuses, plus a Steelbook case, a nine-inch Adam Jensen figure, and a 48-page art book. All that for the price of $140.

Whichever pre-order bonuses fan opt for, we can’t wait for the game to come out and once again explore the gritty futuristic world of Deus Ex. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will release on February 23rd, 2016 and will come to Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
