Dying Light 2 Stay Human Waltz Boss Fight

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is the sequel to Dying Light. In Dying Light 2, you will be facing Waltz in the final boss fight. The fight is fairly simple but long if you are lacking power. There will also be 4 stages of the boss fight so be ready for it.

Stage 1

Everything starts easy, you will first be thrown into a circular platform with Waltz into a fight, and need to decrease his health to a certain level until you reach the second stage.

His attack pattern is simple at first, punching you, creating shockwaves on the ground, and will also create an energy line that will push you back. Dodge the attacks by keeping a safe distance, and attack him at the right time. Jump to avoid the energy line and jump back when he creates shockwaves.

Stage 2

When Waltz’s HP is decreased to a certain point, a cutscene will appear and the fight will continue after it. Waltz will start using smoke in the area and dash around in the smoke. His attacking pattern will also be different.

You won’t need to dash around with him, stay in the center with a clear view and focus on attacking at the right time. He will lurk in the smoke and dash towards you to attack. Listen to the sound he makes and perform the usual dodging on his running and punching attack.

Stage 3

Again with Waltz being worn out from the battle, another cutscene will trigger. He will take an injection to keep himself back in shape. The battle starts getting serious here so you might want to use some enhancement.

Waltz will start jumping around platforms where you will need to keep attaching him while chasing after him until he’s worn out. Be careful and don’t fall from the platform as the floor is filled with THV chemical patches. Waltz will start lunging and wreaking havoc around, grabbing nearby objects and smash you with them. Time your dodge and you will get through it.

Stage 4

Same as before a cutscene will play and the last stage will start. This won’t be too difficult because Aiden will turn into his monster form and all you need to do is blast your way out of here and end the fight.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a survival horror game developed and published by Techland. It was released earlier this year and available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation5, Steam, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. A Nintendo Switch version is also currently in development.
