EA Adds PVP Mode For Plants vs. Zombies 2

Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time has received a new mode called Battlez and developer PopCap has added an entirely fresh high-score comparing player-vs-player system into the game.

based on the trailer above, their concept of PVP is not going against your opponents directly rather when you opt for another player to battle against, you are going to put up plants in your garden, then start a massive wave of zombies. You will then collect points from the amount of zombies that you kill in addition to just how far back on the playing field you kill them.

The score comparison is visible in a brand new banner set at the top of the Battlez stage. After the battle is finished, you can see which plants your enemy had deployed in the game, which might provide you a few hints as to which plants to use in future battles. You will also receive a progressively better reward the more games you win in a row.
