Electronic Arts is skipping E3 2019 this year, as the game maker giant states that it rather host its press conference through its own EA Play event.
This makes EA the second game maker to miss E3’s expo after Sony had announced late last year that it will not be participating in E3 2019. Although the conference is canceled, the EA PLAY starts June 7, 2019, with an all-new EA PLAY kickoff event. The company will be hosting multiple live streams that will air during the first two days of the event, bringing everyone more exclusive gameplay reveals, developer talks and breaking news. Tickets for that event will go live next month.
Additionally, EA PLAY fanfest is scheduled for June 8 and June 9 where players will get their hands-on with EA’s latest games. Content creators will also be streaming live from the Creator’s Cave in the Hollywood Palladium providing gameplay content to audiences viewing online.
