Mods often give life to games way past their launch and no other game has amazing longevity than Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Continuing that tradition of bringing new content to Bethesda’s medieval-fantasy open-world is Enderal, an ambitious project to build an entirely new game using Skyrim‘s engine.
If you think this is just a simple mod that adds on new quests, think again. Enderal is a full fledged game with an extensive campaign, new maps, new architecture, and new characters that are fully voiced.

Unfortunately, since the game is being made by Germans, it will be released in German first (1-3 July is the targeted date). Those hoping for an English translation will have to wait “some weeks” for it.
If you want to check out the mod, you can head over to their site here and prepare for the download to be available next week. Also, the mod will be free to download so you don’t have to worry about spending a dime on it.
In other news, Skyrim will be getting the HD treatment with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition which will release on October 28th, 2016, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
