NetEase Games and CCP Games have recently released an expansion for their MMORPG EVE Echoes. The INDOMITABLE update is available now on both iOS and Android for free and looks to broaden the scope of the game further than before, with players able to rule over their own pieces of the galaxy. There are regions known as nullsec space that promise fiercer fights than anywhere else alongside being more hazardous and lawless zones. The arrival of the Territorial Claim Units, Corporation Stations, and Player-owned Stations will allow pilots to assert dominance and claim sovereignty over these areas.
The aforementioned player-owned stations will include a structure known as a Citadel. They operate as a base and shelter for players and their allies in nullsec space with the developers stating that they will become increasingly important locations in New Eden.
The INDOMITABLE expansion will see the maximum fleet size increased to 50 pilots whilst alliance capacity has expanded to 30 corporations, meaning larger scale PvP conflicts than previously. On top of that, the newly added Time Dilation (TiDi) feature promises an improved gameplay experience.
This system will slow all in-game actions when an area is in danger of being overcrowded. This should keep the game running smoothly and prevent it from either lagging or crashing. More expansions are expected to arrive in future.
