It seems that PlayStation 4 users will have to wait a bit longer to enjoy mods for Fallout 4 on the Sony console. And when “we say a bit longer”, we mean indefinitely, as Bethesda did not mention any new dates for the mod.
The delay announcement came via a tweet from Bethesda’s official twitter account. While the tweet doesn’t give any details, reports are indicating that it relates to mod size differences.
For Microsoft, the Xbox One allows for 2GB of mod size to be uploaded while Sony’s PlayStation 4 are limited to only 900 MB, which limits the mod uploads. That, and apparently a few other issues.
We regret to say that the PS4 Mods Beta for Fallout 4 has been delayed. We will update everyone when we can.

The Fallout 4 console mod came to Xbox One in May and PlayStation 4 was to follow suit. Bethesda has also announced three new DLCs that are coming to Fallout 4 as well.
