Ubisoft has release Far Cry 5 on Xbox One, Xbox One X, PC, and other platforms. The game cost $59.99 and it could even render at 4K resolution on the console. One interesting fact that players should take note is that Far Cry 5’s executive producer Dan Hay states that players can generally expect to get through the core story in just 25 hours of gameplay.
Far Cry 5 is set in America, where it offers players complete freedom to navigate a twisted world as a brand new junior deputy in Montana. Players are forced to join forces with residents of Hope County and form the Resistance in order to survive the violent takeover of the county organized by a fanatical doomsday cult who is known as the Project at Eden’s Gate.
The Far Cry 5: Gold Edition comes with three unique expansions, Hours of Darkness, Dead Living Zombies, and Lost on Mars. Aside from that, players who own the season pass will get early access to Far Cry 3: Classic Edition for free on May 29, 2018.
The best part about the game has got to be the Far Cry Arcade, the biggest map editor mode for the Far Cry series. In Far Cry Arcade, players can create new missions by using assets from other titles in the franchise, as well as other Ubisoft games like Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Unity, and even Watch Dogs.
Last but not least, Far Cry 5’s will contain microtransaction and the microtransaction items are purely cosmetic only and they do not affect gameplay. Ubisoft has also confirmed that players can run the campaign mode for Far Cry 5 offline and without an internet connection.
