Square Enix dropped an early bombshell today with the reveal of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, a remastering of the classic PlayStation 2 title, that’s set for a 2017 release.
A new trailer showed off the new graphical upgrades and overall improvements to the game. It will also feature a new auto-save function, improved load times, and a turbo mode. The musical score for the game has also been re-recorded, but will also include the original soundtrack as well.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will release in Japan for PlayStation 4 on 2017. A Western release is also scheduled for 2017 as well.
