During Sony’s PlayStation Indies Day stream, Annapurna Interactive and Graceful Decay revealed that Maquette, the magical first-person recursive puzzle game, will be coming to Steam PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Check out a gameplay walkthrough here:
Maquette is set in a world nested inside of itself, where players uncover memories of a young couple in love, solving puzzles and navigating through an adventure of love, loss and acceptance. Each chapter is filled with dynamic gameplay, awe-inspiring architecture, stunning environments and eye-opening moments at every turn.
Maquette’s puzzles come from the magical rules of the world that are different from our own, and how to use those special rules in not-so-obvious-at-first ways. So when the obvious solution to a puzzle won’t work, think about the recursive world and what makes it different from our own, and how those differences could enable you to reach your goal in a way that wouldn’t be possible in real life.
