Epic Games Korea CEO Sung Chul Park recently informed Korean site Inven that the game has exceeded 8.3 million concurrent players, and the massive growth may be attributed to Fortnite’s mobile ports which was released previously in April for iOS and in August for Android devices. A report from Sensor Tower has estimated that Fortnite on mobile devices alone makes an estimated $3 million per day. That comes to close to $100 million per month, on a single platform.
Just last month, Epic Games has been valued at almost $15bn after receiving a $1.25 billion cash injection led by the private equity firm KKR.
