Gamescom Future Games Show: Numerous Gameplays and Trailers

On the second day, Gamescom Future Games Show revealed rich game contents to players, let’s have a look!

The Gap

A new trailer of The Gap has been announced by the publisher Crunching Koalas. According to it, the players will play as Joshua Hayes, a neuroscientist who’s lost it all. Joshua will have to explore parallel realities through deja vu in order to recover his memory and salvage his life.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon announced a pre-alpha gameplay footage, and it seems that this open-world rpg will be available in Steam Early Access on Q4 2022.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite

The third-person shooting game Aliens: Fireteam Elite has announced a new DLC trailer of Pathogen. The Pathogen DLC will be releasing on August 30. Available on PS, Xbox and PC.

Snacoon

A raccoon stealth exploration game, Snacoon has announced their first trailer. In the game, players will be able to control the raccoon to explore the world and interact with it.

Floodland

A new trailer from the post-climate apocalypse city builder game, Floodland. The game will be coming to PC on November 15.

The Last Case of Benedict Fox

The action-adventure game, The Last Case of Benedict Fox has announced a gameplay trailer for players. The game will be released in the next spring.

Deliver Us Mars

Sci-fi adventure game Deliver Us Mars announced to be coming on to PS, Xbox and PC in 2023. A story trailer has also been announced in the Future Games Show.

Ereban Shadow Legacy

The developers of the stealth platformer game Ereban Shadow Legacy, has brought us a new developer presentation. It mainly introduces about the protagonist’s ability to blend with shadow. The developer, Baby Robot Games also said that the game was inspired by Nintendo’s Splatoon, where diving into the shadow not only reduces the exposure to enemy, but also able to move between gaps easily. It shows that the shadow blending ability is really suitable for stealth missions.

Afterimage

The new handcrafted metroidvania game, Afterimage from Aurogon Shanghai has gotten a brand new trailer! It will be available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, coming this winter.

The Great War: Western Front

The Great War: Western Front announcement trailer. This game is an intricate historical strategy game about the first world war. In the game, players will be brought back to 1914 – 1919, playing as the strategist of the western front, choosing sides and bringing your army to victory.

Phantom Hellcat

The slasher platformer game, Phantom Hellcat has released a gameplay presentation. Players are able to experience ninja-liked wall climbing and jumping skills, with the mix of theatrical setting and lots of hack and slash. Slide, dash, and push forward to reach the grand finale of this intense fight for her family.

The Dark Pictures: The Devil In Me

The newest episode in the series of The Dark Pictures, The Devil In me. This is be the last episode of the first episode in The Dark Pictures Anthology. In this episode, the main characters are a group of documentary film makers, while they are worry about the futures of their group, they received a mysterious invitation, asking them to a modern-day replica of serial killer H.H. Holmes’ ‘Murder Castle’. The scene is perfectly designed to be filmed for public interested and gain reputation for their group. But then they realized, they are currently in a more crucial situation than their ratings!

Rooted

A gameplay trailer from the open-world post-apocalyptic survival game, Rooted. It’s built with Unreal Engine 5, and in the game, players will have to explore the world of 2100, survive, build and combat the encountered dangers. The game can be played in single-player or multi-players. In the gameplay below presented about how building, exploring and combat is done in the game.

God of Rock

God of Rock is a type of game where rhythm and fighting is mixed together. Following the reveal of its trailer, the game also announced to be landing on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

Lightyear Frontier

A relaxing farming simulator game, Lightyear Frontier has arrived with a new gameplay trailer. Players can co-op with up to three friends and build a cozy homeland in a far far planet. Planting alien crops, building your own farm, and explore the untamed wilderness of this world. The game will be coming in the next spring and available on PC and Xbox.

Layers of Fears

Bloober Team’s new horror game, Layers of Fears has released their first gameplay trailer. The game has a reimagined entry first by using Unreal Engine 5 to develop to offer the most immersive and visceral horror experience. The game is planned to be released in 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

System Shock

A fully remake version of System Shock where it’s announced to be landing on PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S and XboxOne. Release date unknown for now.

Stray Blade

A new gameplay trailer of the action-rpg Stray Blade, introducing all kinds of weapons system.

Goat Simulator 3

The chaotic goat from the neighborhood is back with more goats and more chaos on November 17. The gameplay presentation shows that it’s still a “simple goat simulator” with laser blade, explosion and a bunch of goat friends for more fun. Available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

Soulstice

Soulstice, the dark fantasy hack-and-slash game has brought us a PC demo trailer. The game has planned to be released on September 21 and a demo is also available on Steam.

Edge of Sanity

Survival horror game, Edge of Sanity is a 2D game, where players will encounter all kinds of disturbing cult members, monsters and enemies in a far away remote mountain valley. You need acquire essential supplies to survive another day and night. Planned released in 2023.
