Gear Up For Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta This October
Game publisher Electronic Arts has announced that the multiplayer beta for Star Wars Battlefront 2 will begin on October 4th. That is the start date for players who pre-order the game. EA will open up the beta to everyone on October 6th, and it’ll run through October 9th.
EA also supplied some information on what ws going to be playable in the beta. You will get to test a 40-person battles in Theed, the capital city of Naboo. You could play as either the Separatist droid army or Republic clone troopers, and you will have access to four classes: assault, heavy, officer and specialist. EA stated that “beloved Star Wars heroes” will be available to use too.
The Starfighter Assault, one of the beta’s mode, seems more interesting, but EA is not offering any specifics yet. You will be able to partake in a huge space battle that occurs during the first Star Wars trilogy. The mode will probably involve “piloting a variety of Star Wars” best ships in an objective-based, multi-stage battle,” EA stated in a PlayStation Blog post. The company will fully disclose Starfighter Assault at Gamescom next month.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 will also offer a single-player campaign, unlike its predecessor. The Battlefront 2 beta will soon be available on all three platforms: PlayStation 4, Origin for PC and Xbox One. The game is scheduled to launch November 17th.
