With the drop of Sumeru’s new preview teaser on Genshin Impact, we are able to know Sumeru is separated into two different regions which are the forest and desert region. And today, we will be looking into the forest region first.
From the teaser we can see that the area is mainly covered with endless mountains and greenery. The ecology of the forest is more in line with the tropical and humid region, blooming the lifeform of the rainforest. Massive ancient trees and gentle contour of mountain rocks covering the whole area, bringing in more fantasy element and calming aura. Every botanical plants are referred from local plants with tropical characteristic, reflecting the traits of vividness, vitality and humidity.
As the traveler first arrived Sumeru, they will be found in a city built on a giant ancient tree. Within the nation blessed by Dendro Archon, you will find lots of cute little spirits playing around the forest or even ask for help to solve a series of crisis. Seems that there are the remains of a giant robot lying in the area. Could it be related to the worries of the spirits? Or is there someone behind it?
