Genshin Impact | Version 2.2 Events

Travelers, Genshin Impact is back with their every 6 weeks update, we have got new places to explore, and yes, Tartaglia will be have his banner come first. Let’s see what’s more is in this update.

New Map – Tsurumi Island

This time we get to explore a new island – Tsurumi Island, an island that has been locked off by perpetual fog, where few people dare enter. Some say that this island is haunted. Well, just in time for Halloween this season.

Farewell of Snezhnaya – Tartaglia

Some of you may know, this is the third time Tartaglia has got his featured banner. Tartaglia is a Hydro-bow user, who can change to melee stance using his elemental skill. He is least adept with a bow and that is why he must master it. The 4-stars appearing with him will be Yanfei, a Pyro cactalyst character; Ningguang, a Geo cactalyst character; and Chongyun, a Cyro claymore character (they all happen to be on Ayaka’s banner). All these characters will be available for test runs, so you can try them out before deciding if that is the character you want to pull for.

New Weapon Banner – Polar Star & Akuoumaru

This is the first time Tartaglia’s signature weapon is available for all of us. Also the new claymore, Akuoumaru will receive a chance-up during this period of time. The weapon banner has an “Epitomized Path” system, where players can choose the featured weapon that they would like to get, and they will obtain 1 Fate Point upon receiving a 5-star weapon that is not the one that they chose (you can obtain a maximum of 2 Fate Points). Once players reached the maximum amount of Fate Points, the next 5-star weapon players choose will be the one you have chosen through Epitomized Path. This is your chance to get that weapon you want!

New Event – Labyrinth Warriors

During the event, you can obtain Aged Tokens upon completing the Mystic Onmyou Chamber, Aged Tokens can be exchanged in the event shop for Primogems, Crown of Insight, Talent Level-Up Materials, Hero’s Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ore and Mora. If you meet all the requirements for Blazing Unison, you can exchange a number of Aged Tokens to invite “Blazing Riff” Xinyan (Pyro).

New Event – Tuned to the World’s Sounds

During the event, after completing Kazuha’s special commission, you can use the instrument given to you by Kazuha to play ensemble pieces together with other characters. Achieve a certain number of points to obtain the gadget “Floral Zither”, Primogems and other rewards.

New Hangout Event – Thoma & Sayu

This update finally comes with more hangout events with the beloved Thoma and Sayu. What kind of adventure will they be taking us on?
