Guild Wars 2: The Icebrood Saga Episode One Launches On November 19
ArenaNet’s Guild Wars 2 is launching its first episode of The Icebrood Saga next week on November 19.
Players can unlock the most current episode of Living World for free by logging in to Guild Wars 2 before the release of the next episode. Here’s the highlights of the Whisper in the Dark content:
New Map: Bjora Marches – A lonely land swept by blizzards and infested with creeping terrors. Jora’s Keep may be the only refuge from the storm.
New Mastery: Raven Attunement – Bond with swift and clever Raven, a Spirit of the Wild, and use his blessing to open locks, pass through gates, and shield yourself with his light.
New Mastery: Essence Manipulation – Learn to collect the essences of resilience, valor, and vigilance, then target enemies’ weaknesses and hit them where it hurts.
Weekly Rotating Strike Missions – Test your strength in three strike mission encounters against legendary Fallen, Aberrant, and Svanir abominations.
Upgradeable Ancient Boreal Weapons – Restore this tarnished and timeworn armory to its former glory.
In the distant reaches of the Northern Shiverpeaks, hunters stalk the long night. Whispers scratch at the minds of the Kodan and Norn who call these rugged mountains home, while sightings abound of an antlered beast dragging unsuspecting victims into the trees. As the Commander chases charr Imperator Bangar Ruinbringer deep into the mountains to stop him from trying to awaken the Elder Dragon Jormag, players will discover that one of the Vigil’s most distant mountain watch posts has been attacked and its inhabitants slaughtered, leaving none alive.
Whisper in the Dark will be free for all players who own Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire.
