It’s definitely more than meets the eye with the latest line of Transformers from Hasbro. In a collaboration between Xiaomi and the toy makers, fans can get their hands on the Transformer Soundwave that transform into a Mi Pad 2.
Part of a crowdfunding project that was successful funded, the Soundwave Tablet Transformer (or Transformers Special Edition Mi Pad 2 as it’s known) is currently available for ordering in China for 169 CNY.
If you’re looking to grab one, you might have to resort to importing as there’s no official word of Xiaomi bringing it to global markets. And given that it was developed to celebrate Xiaomi’s 6th anniversary in China, it’s highly unlikely it’ll get released outside of the country.
