Hitman: Sniper Reached 10 Million Players And It’s Now Free For A Limited Time

Square Enix Montreal’s premium mobile game Hitman: Sniper has surpassed 10 million players, reaching the milestone roughly four years after its launch. Despite being an older title, Hitman Sniper continues to receive updates and new seasonal content from time to time.

Hitman: Sniper is a competitive mobile shooter game where players have to assassinate several targets as Agent 47. The company says to commemorate this milestone, Hitman Sniper for both iOS and Android will be a free download for the first time since its launch, available free of charge until April 4, 2018.

The iOS and Android title was priced at $4.99 and the game is based on the long-running Hitman series IO Interactive developed under Square Enix. Furthermore, Hitman Sniper is the second notable Hitman success from Square Enix Montreal as well, where the developer was also responsible for Hitman Go, along with Lara Croft Go and Deus Ex Go game.
