Izanagi Games announced the release date of the PC version of the cinematic adventure game Death Come True. The game will launch on Steam on July 18, so it’s only a couple of weeks away from release. Check out the trailer here:
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, Death Come True is the latest full motion video game from Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka where your actions, and the ending of the story, are determined by your choices.
You play as Makoto Karaki who wakes up in a hotel room to the piercing sound of a ringing phone. Without any memory of how he got there and why he was there, he discovers a woman tied up and unconscious in the bathroom. The evening news playing on the TV shows Makoto Karaki is wanted as a serial killer. Before he can recover from the shock, there is a knock on the door. You must help Makoto Karaki unravel the mystery behind his circumstances, and avoid getting thrown into jail for crimes he did not commit… or worse…
The Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android versions are already available, but the announced PS4 version is still pending a release date. We will keep you updated on any news.
