How to get the BEST Ending in The Quarry

It’s the last day of summer camp and the nine camp counselors of Hackett’s Quarry are throwing a party to celebrate. But something isn’t right, someone, or something is stalking them…

Make your choices before blood starts flying everywhere. Will everyone survive the night and leave the place? Or will there be none…

In this guide, you will be able to know which important QTEs, Choices, Interruptions, Dialogue Choice, and Paths must be done to get the best ending in The Quarry.

Above the Law: Travis and Laura Agree to Work Together to Find Silas

In order to achieve White Wolf (Silas) ending, you’ll first need to unlock the “Above the Law” achievement.
The main path on getting the good ending is to gain Travis’ trust, and to do so, there are a few major choices which must be made.

Gaining Travis’ trust will gain you crucial details of Silas and knowledge about how Chris was not the first Hackett family member to be bitten. Instead, the two, Caleb and Kaylee, who tried to free Silas six years ago, were the one to be bitten first.

Now, in order to get the ending, you will need to pay attention to Chapter 3, Chapter 7 and Chapter 9.

In Chapter 3, Dylan, Kaitlyn and Ryan are around the campfire but suddenly hear Abi screaming from the woods. She then ran out of the woods asking to help Nick. After a series of events, Ryan eventually finds Nick being dragged by Bobby. To save Nick, Ryan will have the choice to shoot the hunter or not. The choice is optional but choosing the first option will unlock the ability to give either Ryan or Laura immunity from dying in Chapter 10.

In Chapter 7, Laura is locked in a cell. When you gain control to explore the cell, head to the market beside the bed and investigate the losen brick. Interact with the bed again and you will find a spoon to loosen it from the wall.

Following Laura’s incident with Max, you can now explore the police station freely. Head to the last office on the top floor and inspect the locker. Laura will then find a syringe to tranquilize Travis. But before that, interact with the loosen brick to hide the syringe.

In the next scene, Travis will have a little chat with Laura. Travis eventually asks Laura to decipher a letter. Midway through the action, you will have the opportunity to grab Travis’ gun. Do not take it.

Now it’s time to escape the cell. In the morning, Laura will fake herself being sick and Max shouts for Travis to help out. As Travis arrives, prompt QTE Right to use the syringe on Travis to put him into unconsciousness. If you didn’t use a syringe and prompt the gun option instead, you will be instantly locked out of the good ending.

In Chapter 9, there’s a scene where Laura is getting dragged through the Hackett’s lounge by Constance. In the struggle of breaking free, a QTE will show up and you need to win the QTE. It then shows the outcome of the shotgun being accidentally fired and kills Constance.

After Bobby sees what happened to his mother, he stabs Ryan in the side and then Laura and Ryan will try to escape from him. As Laura escaped, Ryan who fled downstairs into the dumbwaiter will then go into a bedroom. He will get a choice to remove the knife or not. Leave the knife in as it will prevent Ryan from bleeding out.

Now it’s time for a rematch between Bobby and Ryan. Earlier the knife was still in Ryan and now, you will have a choice to pull it out to stab Bobby or leave it. Again, do not pull it out, leave Bobby be. Laura will then jump down and threaten him. Bobby will leave as he knows Laura is going to transform.

The event hasn’t ended. Ryan is still in the stake of life. In order to heal his wound, Laura poses a plan of biting Ryan, in exchange of him being infected and needing to kill Chris Hackett to free himself from the curse. Accept the offer so Ryan will be able to survive the Hackett massacre in the kitchen later. He will then tell Travis about seeing the White Wolf and team up with Laura and Travis to hunt down Silas.

Ryan and Laura have now made their way into the Hackett’s attic and that’s probably Chris Hackett who is being chained up. Not long after, it breaks free and the floor suddenly collapses, sending three of them to the kitchen below. With a hell lot of events and potential massacre, Bobby will be fighting with Chris, making time for Ryan to scramble a shotgun and choose to shoot Chris to death in a combat scenario.

Finally with Chris’ death, Laura, Ryan and Max are all cured. But the hunt has not come to an end because Chris wasn’t the first werewolf and Travis is bitten by his son Caleb. However, Caleb isn’t the originator either, it was Silas. With a bit of conversation, the three have to agree on working together in order to help things end. Responds suspiciously on Travis’ suggestion, but agrees on it as there are no better ways.

White Wolf Ending: Laura Kills Silas and Both Travis and Ryan Survive:
The Curse is Lifted

We are now finally at the end of the game, Chapter 10. Laura was focusing on reading the letter and didn’t shoot Travis, Ryan was saved from the Hackett Family, and three of them are teaming up to hunt down Silas.

So three of you are in a car but Silas crashes on the car and Travis passes out. Laura needs to take the wheel by smashing the QTE until Travis backs up and hit QTE up to pull the handbrake.

Here will be a little scene where Ryan offers Laura the vial of blood he acquired from shooting Bobby in the earlier chapter. It helps to mask their scent but only enough for one. Since we are aiming for the good ending of the game where Laura kills Silas, the vial won’t matter on either hand. So feel free to accept or reject it.

Finally facing off with Silas, Laura will get an interruption scene to raise the gun and enter a combat scenario. Raise the gun and shoot Silas. Kill the werewolf for good and officially end the curse.
