If you’re itching for more Zelda action while we wait for Breath of the Wild 2 to be released, then Nintendo have got just the thing; Hyrule Warriors: The Age of Calamity has just been announced. Check out a game trailer below:
This game is a follow-up to 2014’s Zelda-meets-Dynasty Warriors spin-off Hyrule Warriors, it’s set 100 years before the events of Breath of the Wild. The game takes place before the Great Calamity, but brings players to many familiar locations in the game. Players will also meet familiar characters like Link and Zelda, and also the four Champions from Breath of the Wild.
Hyrule Warriors: The Age of Calamity focuses on combat and strategy. Master the perfect combos and special moves to take out enemies. But that doesn’t mean that the story won’t also be epic, dramatic and well-worth diving into.
Players can also expect to solve puzzles in between taking part in intense battles as well as unlocking new weapons, crafting, visiting shops and using the Sheikah Slate.
Hyrule Warriors: The Age of Calamity will launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch on November 20th. The game is available for pre-order right now on the game’s website.
